Today my family's exchange student arrived. She is from Seville Spain. We are very excited to have her here with us. She will be staying with us for the next 3.5 weeks.
The picture above is from Seville. She gets to experience this all the time. How lucky is she? She is pretty good at speaking English. However there are some translation issues. But... she is much better at speaking a foreign language than me. Ha-ha. :) I hope that we get along well. We are only a year apart (her being one year older than I) so I hope that helps us "bond". I hope that the next 3.5 weeks go by well. Next week we are going to go camping. I truly hope she enjoys herself. I think that she is under the impression that we are going to be staying in tents and "ruffing" it. HA! Yeah right. My family stays in a trailer with the AC on high, TV plugged in (no satellite though), fridge full, and fire running outside. Don't get me wrong, we aren't city slickers, but we like to be comfortable.
